What is it to be a mere speck of dust floating in the space-time continuum?
How immensely inconspicuous you could ever feel!
Christmas came and went like many other days would have. I was pretty much "un-hyped" up over the festive season and all that jazz somehow. I looked back just 3 weeks before (meaning: aged care attachment) and thought of how many people that could not even be at home with family during this holiday. How people feast on turkey and cranberry sauce while others shiver under a torn sheet of old newspaper in the snowy slums with just hope that the winter will pass with/out their lives.
One of the patients I talked to during one of the days cried for more than half an hour pleading for home leave to be given. I sincerely believed he needed help, but not this way. Maybe he was just emotional after eating lunch, maybe I hit a soft spot.
Spent new year with a couple of old friend's during a birthday. Not that we're very old, but knowing them almost a decade ago does seem like a long time. Met some new friends and was quite encouraged in the knowledge of the conversations I had. It's always the little things that make the most difference.
That star on top of the Christmas tree, that little last piece of the jig-saw puzzle.
I'm so blessed to be here. To be a witness, to be a living testimony among many other people who shine ever so brightly in the dark and taste ever so salty (without any fear of hypertension) in this bland land (nice rhyme ain't it).
That little speck of dust. What could it ever do?
It could get into your eye "when the cold wind blows" and really spoil your day (conjunctivitis and friends).
It could get into an oyster and NOMNOMNOM HEY a DIAMOND!
It could just remain a speck in the vast beach and can never be told apart.

What I tell you in the darkness, speak in the light; what you hear whispered in your ear, proclaim upon the housetops! Do not fear those who kill the body but are unable to kill the soul; but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body.
And yet, no one will fall from your Father, the very hairs on your head are all numbered.
Do not worry about how or what you are to speak in your defence or what you are to say: for the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say.
Look at the birds of the air: they do not sow, nor reap or gather into barns, YET your heavenly father feeds them.
Observe how the lilies of the field grow; they do not toil nor do they spin.
But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which is alive to day and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, will He not clothe you much more, you of little faith! Do not worry then!
I made a prayer list for a few friends:
1. Quit smoking
2. Be set free from frequent stomach pains
3. To do better in exams and more importantly know there is much more to life than a 5.0 CAP
4. To accept Jesus!
5. To be set free from oppression.
God be my guide.
