Back from Iowa
Actually I got back on Thursday, but with taking a day to recooperate, and then working all weekend, this is my first chance to write anything.
And I don't intend to say a lot anyway.
It was good seeing my brother and sister again, we haven't had a time where we were all together, and could really sit and talk in almost 15 years. I also was able to reconnect with my Aunt Barb, and Uncle Gary, which was also good.
My Dads death has giving me an opportunity to look at my childhood in a new light. I was able to put to rest a lot of longstanding demons in my life.
It was very cathartic. I'm glad it's done
