Thanks. Paris is tough, London is tough. They shall not prevail.

Even as the heartbreaking details are coming out about loss of life and terrible injury, the response teams are doing an incredible--and what must be an unspeakably difficult--job. That's something to be positive about and proud of indeed.

The emergency response teams in that area are second to none. They have had to be - London has been attacked by terrorists more than once. We are still not afraid, whatever stupid Katie Hopkins says.

I hope you and the other London citizens in our fandom are alright. Once again, I'm scared for the amound of violence we are experiencing. I hope better times will come. Stay safe! *hugs*

I'm a hundred miles away, but all my London friends are safe. Tragically quite a few of the casualties are not British, as you might expect in such a prime tourist spot. The bastard will have known that.

Thanks.

Uckkk what a shitful thing to do. But heartening to see in the photos how so many people came to the aid of those who were struck.

Well, yes. Including an MP (former Army captain) who ran to give the policeman CPR. That's how most people react in most places, really. And, yes, it was a totally bastard thing to do. He hit French schoolchildren, FFS.

We mustn't be afraid or over-react to this. It was terrible but London always carries on. The police and emergency services were doing an amazing job, which is really something to be proud of.

Hugs.

Exactly. They didn't even stop the District Line, just closed the one station. They will not beat London.
