Yes. I thought they were trying to do a Darla on Ivan, not Herrick, though I'm excited that he will be back. There may be hope for Ivan too. And Annie. I can't bear it if we've lost Annie!
Annie is clearly in Kafka's hell. I love the fact that there were still touches of humour even in the middle of all that angst.
Humanity was such a recurring theme. They are monsters, but humans can be more monstrous. "I know I'm a monster but you treat me like a man", you might say?
I don't want death to be a temporary inconvenience in that verse. Though Herrick was awesome, and if they can buy it back plausibly I'll be happy. (Mindless zombie werewolf vampires FTW!)

I'm sad that it seems Ivan is well and truly dead.

Daisy didn't deserve him.

I'm sure there are actual words to say, but 'eeee' is pretty much all I have at the moment.
Also: dark. Yes.
Annie's hell (if it is hell) managed to be funny as well as terrifying.
They're further away from humanity than ever, it seems, so isolated in their new home. Bristol seemed more human, somehow.

Joss just wouldn't go there, even in his darkest dreams.

Although a little tiny part of me is sad they re-enged on Herrick's death. Not one of Joss's greater habits, I don't think.

Can't wait for series 3! :)

So much good stuff - Annie's hell is particularly horrible. At least in Quortoth you can fight back.
I suspect it's twelve months till S3. :-(
Still, the Doctor should be back at Easter. Not all is bad.
