The school term finished today. Tomorrow is a desultory in-service-training day, followed by farewell presentations to colleagues leaving or retiring. Then the bring-and-share buffet lunch - but I shall be skipping that in order to drive to Bristol for the Diana Wynne Jones conference, which I am ridiculously excited about, though a little worried that I will be out of my intellectual depth. At least I know a couple of people who will be there.

They claim that we will have Wi-Fi, so I may keep you updated. I'm going to be a student for the weekend!
