Here On Gilligan's Isle
Welcome to the first, and, as far as I know, only Gilligan's Island fan community on LiveJournal.
I started this community simply because Gilligan's Island is one of the best and, sadly, under-recognized television series on television.
This community is for: discussion, fanfiction, site promotion, icon-posting, everything to do with GI that falls at or under a PG-13 rating! Given the nature of the series, I don't this will be a problem, but since I myself am a teenager, and I expect we'll have some more teens popping up here, I figured we should be safe.
Unfortunately, we must have rules. *Groans from readers* I know, I know. But they're few, and simple.
1.) Be nice! Very simple. Be courteous to your fellow GI fans. As a maintainer of this community, I will enforce this. Okay?
2.) Respect other people's shipping choices. This means, basically, that you can voice your opinions about Mary Ann/Gilligan, Mary Ann/Professor, Ginger/Professor, and any other ship you can think up all you want, but be respectful and nice about it! Okay? Debates, and friendly joking is great, and fun, but be careful about it.
3.) Keep it clean. This community is rated PG-13, and shall stay that way. Any post or comment that goes over that line will be deleted.
Kay, that's it. Now, if you want, just join, and have fun.
