Introduction and Questions
A brief introduction, then two questions:
Good morning, my name is Robert. I'm thirty-five. When I was a child growing up in the late 'Seventies, I would watch Gilligan's Island every day. Even now it surprises me how well I have certain episodes (not all, by any means) still memorized after all these years. I loved the show then, and I still do now. I'm glad to find this little community, and I hope it continues to grow. Perhaps we can all go on a three-hour tour together!
The reason I have sought you out this morning, my fellow castaways, is that I am looking for the names of two episodes I remember from my time watching the show regularly (my childhood), but which I have not seen since. I will describe them to you.
In one, the castaways actually take a boat to another island, on which they meet (and are temporarily imprisoned by) a mad scientist.
In the other, Gilligan transforms into a Mister-Hyde type monster who craves food. He goes on trial, I believe for theft, and Ginger forces the transformation by producing a hamhock in court. I believe this took place in a dream of Gilligan's.
Have any of you seen these episodes, and if so, can you tell me their names?
