I'd probably grit my teeth and put up with the DNC, but after having to put up with superbowls which invariably fall on the weekend closest to my birthday there's no way I'm sticking around watching the area being taken over by raving neocons trying to rationalize nominating Dr. "Teri Schiavo Looks Fine To Me" Frist.

I forgot to say--when the Dems were in Boston, The Daily Show & crew stayed at BU and my friend who works in Res. Life there got to help Stephen Colbert with his luggage.
I was then and remain insanely jealous.

It's things like this that make me glad the Republicans hate California, though they did have their little shindig in San Diego one year. Fortunately, I was not in the state when that happened. I'm with the others, run for the hills!
