Dear Alton,

You posted a lovely entry on your blog last night about converting to digital video. It's unlikely I'll be getting an HDTV set or have any intention of paying my rip-off cable company the additional charges required to recieve HDTV programming this half of this century, I probably won't see much benefit from it unless I make plans to be at Sears or Circuit City during the next ep, but I wish you luck with it. It's too bad the cameras are so "big and clunky", I guess that's why we don't get as many cool "inside the oven" shots and the like. Hope you and the team can work your way around that once you're in/now that you're in your own set.

I do have a request. Please, please knock it off with the Terry Gilliamesqe animation history lessons. They were funny at first but now they're in every freakin' episode whether they fit or not. You managed to squeeze the history in in lots more creative ways in previous seasons, please go back and look at a few of those! The Law of Diminishing Returns has definitely set in on this one.
