As ever, the characters, the comradeship, Mal being eternally frustrating (or that could just be me lol!). Gautier seems an interesting character...
all in all, very nice and i look forward to MORE!:))

More is coming soon. This first part has been incubating for an embarrassingly long time, it's just the later parts that are challenging. I'm working on them, actually getting words added to the text on a daily basis, so I'm happy, that's a lot more than where I was a month ago...

Mal must be... something right now. Mad, probably. Confused. I love how he just invites himself along, in complete contradiction to his dummy routine earlier. This is going to be tense.
Honestly, I took the opportunity to reread the shuttle story before starting on this, just to get back into the flow of the series, and I'm just blown away by the quality and attention to detail. It just captures so much of the show, especially the often neglected parts about the Verse landscapes and cities. And the dialogues! So Joss-like! *g*
Also, Zoe, Kaylee and Inara totally need to spend more time doing funt hings together. They're all adorable just giggling and being silly, each in their own special way.

And, thanks for the shuttle story shout-out! I think I'll post a link with the earlier stories, because it has been a while *blushes and fidgets, lalala....*
The part with our three beloved ladies was fun to write, thanks!

I love the array of Mal-reactions to the capture, all of them violent of course. The whole fic was funny and interesting and enjoyable and well-written. *happy sigh*
