The Bell

I think I'm finally getting used to this whole summer thing. And I like it.

I've definitely had some good times already. After standing in line forever for a parking spot for the car I don't have last Monday, I came home then went out like 10 minutes later. I went to Webb Park with Steph and we walked around. Cassie and Amanda came and picked us up and we went to Wendy's. Steph and I went out with Jay after that and we somehow ended up in Plymouth. We were going to go to Plymouth Plantation, but that's boring so we parked near the water/Mayflower II. I wouldn't pay $24 for the three of us to walk around a stupid little ship and look out at the water. I will never hear the end of that. So we walked on these rocks instead and I forget the name of it but they went out into the ocean. It was a long walk and I almost fell and killed myself on the way back. We got slush from Shirley and then Steph had to go home since she was already like 5 hours late. But before we left, we saw the Founding Father's Statue which is huge and actually kind of cool. We got Kara after that and went to HPL. We [I] only had to pay $17 in late fees. That's not so bad.

Tuesday, Kayla, Cassie, and I went to Amanda's after school to see if she wanted to go to the movies with us. We ended up waking her up from her nap and then basically sleeping ourselves. Woops. Her mom brought us pizza and then we all went home. Went to World's End that night. That was an experience. The lady in the little hut was way too happy to see us there but she didn't make us pay to park which was cool, I guess. There are snakes in there. I know there are. Oh, and we were just walking on this path and I almost stepped on a dead bird. I flipped out. It was so gross/sad and then I saw another bird that looked just like it flying above it and Jay goes, "Oh, it's probably its mother." He sucks.

Wednesday was my last day of school. Thank. God. I came home and went outside to read since it was a really nice day...and then I fell asleep. For almost an hour. I got such a bad sunburn and it still hurts really bad today. Found out we had to go help Smith that night so I went and did that. It was pretty pointless but I got some free books out of it. Brought these huge light things to Jay's house but it was scary because they almost hit poles/cars/people on the way there. Watched a movie after that and looked through a yearbook from 1986. That was fun. Went and got food and then to some place to eat it. Then we went somewhere else and parked and I fell asleep. Before I was really asleep though, I heard Jay and Steph talking about going to breakfast the next morning. Then I think they called Cassie and told her that they were meeting at my house at 7:30. Ya ok, guys. So then I think I went to sleep but I woke up at one point because I was really cold. Then I heard Steph ask why we were going to Boston. That really woke me up and I started flipping out because it was like midnight and I had to be home. They just sat there and laughed at me. I got home and got in trouble but I didn't really know what was going on and my mom kept asking me why I was talking the way that I was and why I couldn't really keep my eyes open. I told her I fell asleep. She didn't believe me. Great.

Thursday was ridiculous. I got up kinda early because I was scared that people were going to be at my house soon. And they were. I heard my dog freaking out and looked out the window and saw a truck in my driveway. Then I saw Jay and Steph. They had already gotten the spare key and were about to let themselves in as planned. They proceeded to invade my room and then leave it a mess so they could go get Cassie. The three of them came back and then we went to breakfast at some little cafe in Plymouth. It was ok, I guess. Then we walked around this little park thing that was across the street and threw keys in the pond and saw a turtle and a bunch of other stuff. Then we went to Burial Hill and walked around some more. Steph had to be home, so we dropped her off and then went to get some stuff from Smith, but she ended up gaving us work to do. We stole one of the spotlights that day and brought it to Jay's house. I had to sit in the bed of his truck while we were bringing it there and it was fun except for this old lady behind us who kept giving me these horrible looks and staying waaaay behind us. We went to Cassie's house after that, caused some damage, then moved on to Amanda's. Spent the rest of the day there and it was really fun. We played Taboo, a ridiculously long game of Clue, and the pig game that I forget the name of. Oh, and both Liz and I got thrown into the pool with our clothes on and it sucked. Later, I was in the hammock with Amanda's [new] shorts on and she decided it would be fun to try to get me to fall out of it. So, she pushed me and I kind of fell and got dirt all over her shorts and she freaked out and blamed me. It was awesome. We ate then played Outta Control. Then we had some interesting times in the dark, and I will leave it at that.

Ummm I worked the next few days after that...I think...I kind of don't remember.

Yesterday, I was woken up really, really early by someone breaking into my house. Yup, it's true. I ended up playing Mario Party all afternoon with Kara and Jay. We got hungry so we got food and then played Mini Gold in Hull. I suck so incredibly much. Went to Liz's after that, played Catch Phrase, got Outta Control from Evan [who is awesome], then played it at Liz's. Good times.

Today, I played Mario Party again then hung out at Kara's for a while. We went through some pictures, got ice cream, and watched "Summerland." Good show. I left there and got four rolls of film back and then got my hours, which suck but what else is new? But the pictures are really good. I am SUCH a picture-taking whore.
