Lovely to hear you care so much about the Saga characters. After writing them for all this time they do seem like family members to me, too!

oh, what a chapter. to finally see einnis and eoin together again, even for such a short time as they will have, is a joy. einnis' edginess while waiting for his arrival was clear, he was definitely strung very tightly ( ... )

In the case of Ulv and Helga Arna proved herself to be vengeful, that is true - but in this she is by no means not out of the ordinary in her society. It was the way she was raised to be, and it was her duty - the women of any clan were obliged to consider themselves responsible for protecting their clan and in egging the menfolk on to fight whenever clan honor demanded it. The Icelandic clan sagas that I base much of my story on are filled to overflowing with women who *really* are out for vengeance. It was their culture and their time. Timid people got run over by tougher ones ( ... )

you depicted the reunion scene with such force and passion it certainly measured up to Annie P and the screenwriter's take on what happens when a force of nature collides.

I was wondering how Arna was going to bare witness to this. It was so dark how does she know for certain what she saw?

Einnis was about as low as a person could get. This relationship to Arna is slowly unraveling and his life became so meaningless, until his sunshine came riding in and their eyes met and it was like Einnis couldn't wait to claim his man! (and boy did he EVER)

I hope no one else saw what was going on in that dark alley.

more please. We finally got to the juicy parts of the story.

Thank you for educating me about Viking life

Heh - glad to hear you liked. The juicy parts were darn hard to write - I think I should just send them off in opposite directions again! :-D
No, noone else saw what was going on, but Arna did, and she isn't in doubt about what she saw. We'll have to blame the Scandinavian summer nights for showing E&E up, - it never gets *completely* dark.
Thank you for commenting so kindly!

oh I think you better think TWICE before you separate them. Thems fighting words!

you wrote the juicy parts very well.

I know in parts of Scandinavia it stays dark longer and in summer it doesn't get dark until late (I have friends in Sweden)

I also have a friend in Alaska.

I love the tenderness they show each other I'm sure Einnis will be difficult again after the afterglow and he realizes where he is.

more please

Thank you, happy to know the juicy parts worked out! Guess I won't separate them immediately after all! :-D
I'll be writing on as quickly as I may - I've got the rest of the plot mapped out but the chapters do nevertheless take their time to get all of it right.

Ah, my shameless begging paid off! Thank God they are back together, at least for right now. I'm sure it won't last long, but it's so sweet while it lasts. I love how Einnis was frantic and desperate, the idea of finally seeing Eoin again making him realize how much he had missed him. Well done!

Thank you! I liked envisaging Einnis as he wandered restlessly about, - of course he's the mirror image of Ennis in that particular movie scene that is one of my favourites, certainly with what follows next! I almost imagined Einnis the Viking with a blue-striped shirt under his fine cloak....

Yeah, that was one of my favorite scenes too, I think I watched it 300 times, just counting the bottles ... and he looked so pretty in his good shirt. <3

Oh, they've been separated so long now, it was high time to get them back for a little loving. :-) Thank you, Tracy!
