Independance weekend Recap
All in all, a pretty stellar weekend! I know you're all dying to know, so here's the recap.
We'll start with Thursday because that was the beginning of my extended weekend. I arrived at Curley at about 5:30 and Matt and Bill shortly followed. We ate some scrumptrulescent burgers and dogs, cleaned up, and then headed down to the game. The O's failed to impress but we all had a good time nonetheless. I dropped Matt & Bill back off at ABC, fuled my car up, and then headed home to drink some beers, do some house work, and picture framing.
Friday, I was supposed to wake up at 9 am but couldn't drag my ass outta bed until almost 11. I got up, continued preparing the house for the housewarming on Sunday, went to pay the rent, ran home and threw up, and then headed out to the Wal-Mart. Wal-Mart is definitely more fun where your trashed, but not so much fun when you almost pass out while printing pictures at the Kodak print station. I went to pick up my dad and then met Jen and Marcy at Elrino Street and we all headed to see the O's battle the Indians. The food was excellent, Jake and I ate way too much, the fire works were nice, and the popcorn battle was funny. However, the O's still failed to impress. After the game, we all went home and Jen and I fell asleep after....well....ummm....... you get the point.
Saturday, Jen woke up before me and went to mow her pops lawn. I, again, woke up late and did some more work to the house, framed more pictures and listened to Live 8 on the radio. Mom and Jen went and did all of the shopping for the party. When they finally came home, Jen and I just kinda finished up the housework and chilled out.
Sunday, we woke up, went to the flea market, and then came home and set up for the party. All of the guest came by, 30 in all, and we all had an excellent time. The new place is finally broken in. Patches, Zac, Liz, Todd, and Ryan all spent the night. We all had fun getting wasted and listening to classic rock.
Monday, Jen and I awoke and immediately and headed to Mark's where I proceeded to drink many beers and do a lot of shots. The food was excellent, the bar was stocked, and all of my closest friends were all there. The party seemed much tamer that previous years but I guess that's what happens when you get older.
Today, I am pacing myself. I want to just get up and leave. I NEED to be at the beach right now. Only 10 days left until vacation.
