So even though this is a normal weekend like any other weekend, it has felt a bit like this enormous yawning chasm of free time has opened up. There's been a lot of, "Well, shit. Now what do I do."
Tomorrow I set about following a normal workday. Get up, take a shower, get dressed, and then sit down and get to work on serious things.
I've been playing a bit of World of Tanks. It's pretty fun once you go through the hazing of being a new player. It's one of those games where playing longer = better gear, but since the matches are divided into tiers you're not too hosed for long. I'm playing exclusively with Russian tanks and was happy when I got my little MS-1 fully upgraded. I have some Russian artillery too which is fun and a different style of play.
I have a serious hankering for that new Mortal Kombat game, though. Maybe once money starts coming in again and I know how much I have to play with. I watched some of the new Fatalities and they are seriously upsetting. It's great.
