Battlestar fans

Dear end of the worlders.

Battlestar is not badly done, the mid-season final's show wasn't bad, and if it was bad, you'd not be screaming about it and waiting a year for the next episodes.

He's not an idiot, he has a script, and he's bound by the basic rules of sci fi: Get renewed and stay in budget. Also, if a strike occurs and your people have contracts to do stuff after the normal tv shooting season, re-write the story to fit into a large gap instead of 20+ episodes straight through.

Even the best guys who wrote it end to end so to speak, MJS (bab 5 writer) constantly pointed out the need for adjustments. The plotlines stayed, elements changed. He had set pieces and flex. I'm sure these guys also have had to change stuff. Stuff didn't work, or they had ideas they changed. The way I read people write about them, you'd think it was the worst show on tv.

Suckers, you'll be there in 2009. Lost lost alot of fans with some stuff they did, this show hasn't. Please stop writing like you can do a better job. You can't. If you can and you're not doing it, shame on you. Just sit back and enjoy it, curse them out for the last episode or how this or that goes, but please don't call them idiots or bad writers cause you wanted a different take. If it was obvious, no one would watch.
