Loz folded his arms and leaned against the window, watching snow drift down from the black sky. While he had been living in his Mother's house now for awhile he had not spoken much to his youngest brother, Kadaj. He knew Kadaj was most likely not comfortable with him being there. He wondered how long it would take till he could convince him that he was finally free of the ties to the world they all hated so much.
He released a soft sigh and watched his breath cloud the window slightly. Even Mother had not said much to him yet. Was he always going to lag behind in this family? Yazoo had made up with him for the most part, but at the same time Yazoo was not Mother, she gave the final word. If she shunned him then so would his other brothers, it was just the code. Loz wanted to belong so badly now, he cursed himself for rebelling to begin with.
This was where he belonged, he should not have been so foolish in the past.
A sudden noise made him turn his head and look into the darkness of the living room. His eyes fell on his youngest brother and he tried to smile in welcome at him.
"Kadaj... I didn't expect you to be.. awake.."
