Who: Balthier + any upper class (or impudent lower/middle classes ^^)
Where: Cafe, upper class district
When: Later afternoon
What: Getting a feel for the city
He kept his eyes focused on his book, but he wasn't reading it. He'd read this particular book, a compilation of classical poetry, a dozen times before anyway. He could recite the damn thing by heart.
It presented a good front, however.
Balthier lounged at an outdoor table at the neat little cafe, a glass of wine on the table in front of him, book in his slender hand. He was dressed immaculately, as always, in an expensively embroidered waistcoat, an exquisite white shilk shirt underneath, tailored breeches and soft leather boots. His short, sandy blond hair was spiked up in the style he preferred, and numerous rings, bracelets, and earrings graced his skin.
A proper bath and a night in a real bed had done wonders.
His sharp brown eyes darted up from time to time, checking on the locals passing by him. Discreet was his watchword, though, and not getting caught was a specialty. To all outward appearances, he was simply an elegantly dressed, handsome, slightly effete upper class citizen reading a book of poetry.
