Christ man, that had tears in my eyes. For those who refuse to use IE or can't (damn Linux and OS X users), this is arguably the best marketing campaign for a game. Ever. Its set in 2610 I believe at the Museum of Humanity. Its all real life. The site takes you through this massive, and I do mean MASSIVE, diorama made of the battle at New Mombossa. It uses Flash to take you through it. This thing was painstakingly made. As you go through it, you have checkpoints where you may get more information about the enemy combatants. You also encounter several First Person Accounts of it. Most are read through, one is a video that makes the battle for humanity eerily real. In it, you have an old surviving veteran coming into the museum, looking down at the diorama. A disembodied voice asks him of his recollection of that day. As he looks down on it, he answers. The camera goes through the diorama, you see a soldier, hiding behind a pillar. Terrified. Camera shifts again, you see dismembered limbs, torsos, and the like, with UNSC Marines fighting back. The paramount terror of humanity, pushed to the precipice of its own extinction. It shifts to the MC, hanging from the grip of a Brute Commander. The voice says, "The MC gave us faith in seeing through the day." Camera shifts back to the vet, crying. Fade to black.

Remember the Gears of War trailer and how bad ass it was? This is even better. If you don't like Halo, fuck it, give this a shot. I guarantee it'll change your mind.
