While on exchange, I met a war veteran from the US Army. He was 34 but has been deployed at 6 different warzones. He was on a break and intended to take a holiday to the beach. When we asked him, "Are you planning to stay in (this) hotel and (that) hotel while travelling?" He replied, calmly,"I'll just sleep by the beach with a poncho...you know, when you've been to war 6 times, you really learn to appreciate the simple things in life."
