Fun evening
A completely new theater just opened up locally at a nearby mall, which had the old theater completely demolished and built with the latest technology. All digital systems and two proper IMAX theaters. The next closest theater with IMAX basically did a refit of their largest screen. It was a pretty darn nice experience, especially getting to see The Lion King in 3D once again. This week the theater is doing showings for various charities, with admission, popcorn and drinks only $2 apiece. I don't think this mall has been so busy in ages.
Tomorrow night they will be showing the superhero movies from this summer and the following day will have family films. I'll be heading there again to go see Kung Fu Panda 2. Loved that movie.
