OMG, YAY!!!!
Well, here's the news that everyone has been waiting for, John and I are officially engaged! While I'm thrilled to pieces at this life altering milestone (no pun intended), the fact that Aunt Carolyn posted her congratulations on both our Facebook pages PLUS hers and Uncle Dale's kind of forced my hand a bit to change my "Relationship Status" earlier than I counted on and planned. I did get a chance to tell systris, lockesedai, Lou, Elysa, Gregor, Catherine (who called last night to remind me to stop by to see her today), Stacey, Uncle Bob, Rod, and Suzanne. J told his cousin Stephanie and she messaged me on Facebook and we taleked a bit. John and I agreed to wait on the Facebook announcement, well, that was the plan anyway. June wanted us to tell Uncle D and Aunt C on the phone. God Bless Carolyn, she means well. However, I had to say something because people do read the pages of others.
I was engaged before when I was in my early 20's. That obviously didn't work out, but it's all good. Larry isn't a bad person and John and I wish him the best. However, that was one of those things that wasn't meant to be, not at that time, not with that person. Now I'll be 34 tomorrow and this is just so surreal that this is all happening. It will probably happen in a couple years or so. I just want to take my time and get this right.
