Your authorial voice is so distinct, but it allows your character's voices to shine through. This is a lovely story.

I loved it, as expected. I always love your work, so fear not!

The imagery was lovely, Anya's love was tender and gentle, yet frail since as Rowena pointed out, she is still healing as well.

I just love how you write them together as a couple. It's so real. It's a mature relationship, romantic, and the business banter and endearments they use... I could go on and on.

Well done, indeed. It makes me want to write a sequel to my own with Giles and Dawn, where Anya sweeps in and comforts him in a mature adult way. :wink wink:

Thank you so much! Your encouragement is so lovely, and I'm grateful for it.

As you suggest (hee), there's not much 'mature adult' comfort in the story since it seems too soon after "Hell's Bells," which makes things difficult. But I'm so glad the romance came through anyway!

Hugs and gratitude!

Lovely, lovely, and the dreamy quality at the end is just perfect for post-rescue falling in love.
