We still have a few days left in March so here's another one.

"Because you're mine now," the walls whispered.
Xander looked around the ancient library in alarm. At each reading desk he could see corpses of scholars bent over books. Different generations, different motives to their own perhaps, but all had rotted to husk and bone.
"Giles!"
"Mmmm. Just a minute, Xander." The watcher was already seated, scrolls of slayer prophecy at his elbows. A notebook and pencil in eager hands. "There's something about Buffy in here."
To his side, a desk invitingly held the complete early X-Men comics but Xander pulled Giles roughly to his feet.
"We have to go."
