New year, new theme, new prompts
I've been away far too long due to bereavement and other crap, but let's see if we can start 2017 a little better.
From now to the end of February, I declare our theme for ideas to be:
Brush Up Your Shakespeare
Drabbles, ficlets (or sonnets if you really want to), the idea is to draw inspriation from all things vaguely to do with Shakespeare. Each week I will throw out some prompt ideas but you are free to use or ignore as you see fit. Week 1:--->
This above all: to thine own self be true.
It is a wise father than knows his own child.
Beware the green-eyed monster.
Additional prompts:
A pound of flesh
Exit, pursued by a bear
You have witchcraft in your lips
Third set of prompts:
For some must watch, while some must sleep
You take my life when you take the means whereby I live
'Tis an ill cook that cannot lick his own fingers
Probably bonus points for writing an actual monster with green eyes or for anything that involves Giles in tights.
