Hi all,
For this evening's late entertainment (or for those of you who are by chance seeing this on Wed morning), I have an oldie but an exceptional B/G for you.
One Long Summer

First and foremost, you have to know that sadly it's unfinished. And since Tevye isn't in the fandom anymore, it will not be completed. That being said, however, there is still what I consider a pretty satisfying ending in Chapter 8 (which was just recently updated to the Buffy/Giles.net site, having only been around on the yahoo lists before).
This is the story of a Buffy that's been distanced from her Watcher by the Initiative. They meet again, in LA. Buffy is staying with her father for a little break from the Hellmouth, and Giles is helping Angel with a demon problem. But the best part is the way that Tevye reworks the Watcher/Slayer relationship, plays with their bond and turns it into something entirely new, and writes some wonderfully hot teasing (and then wonderfully hot sex) as well.
