Sunday recs
Okay, today's recs are all from a pairing that snuck up on me rather unexpectedly. It's now one of my favourites. It is, of course, Giles/Anya.
So feast your eyes on these few:
First, HOLDING ON by Headrush. It's a very sweet, post-Grave fic. I like it because it captures the characters perfectly - and I rather wish this had happened in the show.
Second, HOW'S THAT AGAIN? by Gillian Silverlight. This is rated FRAO and the summary is "Giles is back and encounters Anya at the ruins of the Magick Box." LOL - such a short summary for what really happens! I like this one because it's a bit different from the usual "fall in love" type fics - you'll have to read it and see.
Third, HUGH GRANT EXPLAINS IT ALL FOR YOU by Lori. NB - the link above is to part one. This is a four part fic and the links are:

This is rated FRAO and I honestly don't know what to say about it. The summary says "Season Six, going AU after "Flooded"; rom-com with an edge. In a world falling apart, Anya and Giles test the axiom 'better living through pop culture,' most particularly the masterworks of Mr Hugh Grant." You know sometimes you come across a fic that is perfect? And I mean everything is perfect - characters, plots, situations...the works. This is one of those. You don't JUST get Giles/Anya - you get a far better "way" of Giles leaving. Read it. You'll favourite it...I know you will!
