Sunday Recs
Here we go with a few more recs.
The link between them is that...well...I like them all!
First:
WARLOCK by Vatwoman. This is rated FRAO. It's Giles/Jenny and is a quite superb fic. The summary reads "Story's set in season two, after 'Ted' and before 'Surprise/Innocence'. There's a new teacher in town and he wants Jenny, but is he quite what he seems? Magic, sex and angst ensue." Boy oh boy though that's not the half of it! I like this because there's a good plot and the characters are simply perfect. Lesley has a habit of being able to do that!
Second:
MORE THAN A KISS by JK Philips. Again - FRAO. This is Giles/Anya and is basically "what was edited out of Tabula Rasa". This is fun and smut and if I say anything more it'll spoil it for you. I've recced this because I have a fondness for Giles/Anya. This may not be your usual G/A fic but Season 6 would have been a damn sight better if Tabula Rasa had THIS in it..
Third:
MAN, PRETENDING by Ruth. Another FRAO (that's a link between them all!). A pairing that few people seem to write - Giles/Olivia. There's no summary with this one and, to be honest, I can understand that. This is Giles - his thoughts and more about his "relationship" with Olivia. This is recced because it's a beautifully written fic that, once again, captures Giles to utter perfection.
