A discussion last week about Giles mpreg stories reminded me of this long unfinished AU story, which picks up at the end of season 4 and takes our characters in some decidedly non-canonical directions.
Giles and Buffy have just begun a relationship. They head off to a bed & breakfast for a romantic weekend away. Meanwhile, Cordelia has had a vision of the two of them screaming (in pain?) while a purple demon menaces them. Angel sends Cordy and Wesley off to protect our pair from the demonic threat. And they're not the only couples at the resort... And that's only the beginning of a long, entertaining, and tragically unfinished story about all of the BtVS and AtS characters.
The mpreg, by the way, is a very temporary spell gone hilariously awry. Poor Giles. And Xander. And Wesley.
