I’m embarrassed to say, it took me a long time to get around to reading this story, simply because of its rating. Somehow I equated FRC with boring, and I couldn’t have been more wrong. This fic satisfies my need to see Buffy and Giles together romantically, with a new, rather large, obstacle thrown into the mix.
It’s the summer after the fourth season, and Buffy and Giles have drifted apart. Through contrived circumstances, they are forced to take jobs working at a resort in northern California. Lily takes her time developing this story at a nice easy pace, reminding us it's all about the journey.
