I decided that I definitely need more metal on my body.
My ears to be precise. I got my regular earholes when I was 13, got four more holes punched since. All at a jewellers. Which looks like this on both sides:
Now I want to go on, moving on to the piercer for real. I'm planning on having a total of seven rings up my left earshell. Seven is a beautiful, very symbolic number - I like that. For the right side I want to get an additional hole somewhere in the middle of my upper earshell, preferrably golden ratio scaled with the arc of the first and third hole. Forget about the second one. And... I want a tunnel for my first hole. Nothing large, but it should be see-through. Maybe 6mm or so. Yes. I don't even know where this fascination comes from.
SO. Project Body Art.
First thing I've set a date to get my tetanus vaccination refreshed. No way I'm letting any needles near me without that! I also happen to have the possibility to get vaccinated against Hep B. Considering I want to get pierced, I'm doing that too. Cause I'm a reasonable girl. =) Yah, well, and I bought some stretching tools and set to work on Saturday! Now my right earhole has a lovely little spiral in it and measures 1,6 mm. My lobe has returned to its natural alabaster, but still sports a faint hurt every time I obliviously put my head on the pillow or carelessly pull my shirts over my head. Ow.
I have to say, I did feel vaguely dirty - stretching holes with large amounts of lube to put things in. =D
