A Car With Personality
characters: the Impala, a humanized or should I rather say anthropomorphized (what a word!) Metallicar
rated: PG-13 (weapons, hinted nakedness and such? I don't know, I'm bad at this)

I wanted to do something a little different from my usual portraits and ventured into the world of whole bodies, actual backgrounds and *gasp* "furries". I had to do a lot of research, mainly on proportion as I never did anything quite like it before: I didn't know how to scale a gazelle-human-mix, I had no clue how to combine a woman's features with an animal face and hoves and fur markings, I had never drawn a gun or bullets before and hell, I didn't even know how big the hood of a Chevy Impala was. But I think it turned out quite well. Bless the geeky, Sam-style research skills.

On the Impala? Well, I wanted her to be able to walk around, but still look quite different from a human. I didn't want her to be one of those big-boobed, long-haired beauties Dean prefers to fuck. His car girl needed to be someone different, someone with whom Dean would want to hunt, who he'd protect with all his heart, with whom he'd share a long-lasting, very devoted bond. Someone more like Sam, actually. Which is why I gave her Sam's haircut.

And apropos Sam-style research. Here are the pre-sketches:
