First: The PowerBook is here and working wonderfully. Sadly, it's a Lombard and not a Pismo, but it still rocks muchly. I never quite realised how damned thick and heavy the WallStreet was until I got this. And... as it turns out, the WallStreet just didn't like my hard drive, because it's working great here. So now I need to source up a tonne of memory, and a wireless card that fits well (and doesn't stick out as much as the one I had for the WallStreet did). The second battery comes later.
Second: The laptop almost never arrived, save for the nice gentleman who brought it over to me. Somehow, FedEx managed to deliver it to the wrong address. By a long shot. I checked all of the shipping docs, and the address was correct, so I'm left confused. But I have my laptop, so all is well.
Third: Any of you Tea Party fans out there who don't keep up with what's going on (and I assume that to be most of you that I know listens to them), listen to
the new single, "Writing's On The Wall". It's different, but then again, the Tea Party has really hasn't been about staying the same. I must by the new album when it comes out (August 29th?).
