Aha! I finally have something to write for this.
State of Me - I quit my job the middle of last month so I've been putting out resumes and doing the whole application thing. And also cleaning my house where I'd left off several weeks ago. But overall, I'm pretty happy with where things are.
Squall - I was surprised to discover how many people Squall considers friends (especially since I don't think they all reciprocate--I blame Squall's understanding of friendship). He doesn't make friends easily. And this has been a bit of contention for he and Zell. Zell wants Squall to make friends, Squall is sick of Zell talking about that.
However, he had a really great day and went out and met folks. He's been trying really hard to get out of his shell. Still working on Valentine Plot, but he's just going to bury his guilt as he always does.
Upcoming Plot: There's a laundry list of things with which he needs to deal, but he's not going to spontaneously start talking about them. Though he did a good job of opening up with Juliet and Aly last month.
His item is going to be a big, scary deal. My goal there is to get him to talk to a shrink and I am certain his item will break him. I need to work out details. Anyone want a new patient?
Zell's item has been moved up. We're both interested to see how that turns out. Squall and Zell have continued their history of completely missing the other's meaning on the island. And then there's the worry that neither will want to talk.
Gilderoy - He's great! I can't believe I talked myself out of playing him for so long, but Zack really was my favorite and my focus and I don't think Gilderoy could have competed. His debut threads were great! Most of them went on for some time before he even got the island speech.
So the best part is that he's living in the basement suite with Asher, Joey and Stephen. For now. I don't think he's going to be living there for long. Someone may kill him. Which totally should be a plot!
Upcoming Plot: Gilderoy will mostly have silly plot. He's the comic relief after all, but I also have a larger, personal development plot for him as well.
I think he's definitely going to have to post about his current living arrangements. B/C OMG HE'S LIVING WITH A VAMPIRE!! And also they have an infestation of pixies and/or gremlins. Something keeps taking down/burning down his curtains. :(
He's also going to be canon punctured which will not go over well, I'll probably put that off toward the summer.
Future - Q2 I still want to bring Michael Kenmore. He needs a cover story and I wonder if any Trek pups would know/recognize Trip and/or Sim from the Enterprise episode, Similitude. The main question is "Does Star Trek fall into the same time line as Enterprise?" as they both has some temporal changes. Or would any other pup know this history?
Beyond that, my list changes. I wanted to put in Ash Ketchum, but would I play him? I thought about James, but he'd need Jesse or Meowth and Meowth isn't an option. Without the talking cat, James wouldn't know what to do. I'd love to bring Om Prakash or even Om Kapoor, but I don't know the culture to do it any justice. And Annie's always bouncing around in my head, but I don't know about prolonged plot.
