He’d been busy trying to fix up this place, putting in another desk for his secretary, getting the phone lines to work and repainting the office. It was far from done, but it was starting to look a bit more like home.

"Ginny! There you are, and you're not late at all, don't worry." Gilderoy beamed at her, placing an arm over her shoulder and making a gesture with the other, showing off his home and office. "What do you think? I know it's not quite finished, but it will get better, promise."

Looks wonderful! Ooh, a telephone! That will fun. Will you have an owl to send messages, too?

"Ah, well... I thought I'd cater more to muggles than wizards, at first at least. Your common muggle have no experience in dealing with the frights of the night, your ghosts and goblins and hags... It will be more of a market! And owls aren't very sanitary anyway, much better to communicate with a phone."

He smiled, leading her over to her desk. "Look, this is where you will be, answering phones and dealing with clients. I know it doesn't sound terribly exciting. But I'm sure we can find other things to do for you as well."

*nods* Owls are awfully messy. So, this is where I will sit? *sits at the desk* What shall I say to the telephone? I mean on the telephone. *does not want Gilderoy to think that she is as stupid as her father about telephones*

Gilderoy pondered for a while, shaking his head. "Hmm, I don't know what to call this venture yet. Gilderoy Lockhart's amazing ghostbusters, perhaps. Or Magical menace remover or... Well, maybe you have some suggestions?"

Oooh! Magical Menace Remover sounds good. So... scary! Magical Menace... Gilderoy Lockhart, Magnificent Magical Menace Remover Extraordinaire! Or Magical Menance Eradicator! That sounds even more forceful.

*shakes fist at imaginary magical beast* Take that, menacing, magical pest! The Eradicator is here! ... On second thought, not Eradicator. Remover. It's more direct.

Although... Gilderoy's Glorious Ghostbusters has a nice ring. The Glorious Ghostbusters! That sounds heroic.

I did hear of a Muggle who has a ghost problem! She was asking for help over here.

Gilderoy beams, squeezing her close. "You have such good ideas! I know I made a good choice when I chose you to be my secretary." Glorious Ghostbusters... That really did seem heroic, something that people would remember. "This... muggle, do you know her? Do you think I can help her?"

*blushes and looks dazzled* I don't know her but I'm sure that you can help her! You'd be perfect! Do you want me to go and ask her, or do you want to introduce yourself to her?

"Well, of course I'd be perfect! And I think... as my secretary, you could ask her for me. Perhaps that would be best, since you're the one who knows her, hm?"

Right! I'll go and tell her about Gilderoy's Glorious Ghostbusters! If she's smart, she'll want to engage your assistance right away!

"That's the spirit, Ginny!" He beams at her, opening the door for her. "Go forth and get some clients for me. For us."
