This sounds intriguing - especially this part:
Because for Joe, the worst moment of his life wasn't the day his sister went missing. It was the day she came back.

How 'horror' is it?

Not a huge part, though it’s an integral part of the story. I think you could handle it. ☺️

Thank you. I shall d/l a sample.

EDIT: Or rather I won't, as for some reason the book isn't available on Kindle :-(

That’s too bad. 😕 That’s probably because it’s a fairly new book 📚. Maybe in time it’ll show up there.

It may be that. However, books tend to come out on Kindle at the same time as the release of the physical book. It's usually older books that haven't been Kindle-ised, which is why I was very surprised not to see it available.

It's possible the author or publishing house puts a delay on a Kindle version, but I'd find that somewhat odd. After all it was published in January 2020. That said, given the price of the PB is £11.19 (somewhat extortionate I'd say for a PB) it could well be down to the author/publishing house.

What’s strange is that the kindle version is available over here. Given that, I would imagine that it will be available over there eventually.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say the horror is not more graphic than any mystery that has murders in it, honestly. The story doesn't linger long on graphic stuff, in my view (I read more horror than mystery, back when I read fiction a lot, that is).

Thank you for this. If it ever appears on Kindle in the UK, I shall get a sample.
