jury duty and dead dogs
so 2006 has not gotten off to the stellar...at least marginally better start i was hoping for.
mable hasnt much time left, diagnosed with lymphoma, coincidentally the same type my uncle suffers from. shes got about a month left...though i should probably go down and see her, it would probably better for my already fragile emotional state to not go back down to la to "say goodbye" ie: watch her die.
it probably hasnt helped that ive been painfully antisocial lately. laying around and watching firefly and buffy for days on end, ocassionally trudging to the phoney baloney job is a rut that i need to get out of. i need to want to do something else.
