The end of one thing and the beginning of another

Well today was my last day as an employee of Prints Plus. I worked with Nick and Doug which was nice because it meant that my last day was lots of fun. It's weird to think that it is all over but I am very happy about it at the same time. A change of pace is going to be very nice ... I just wish I knew more of what was going on. Other than that, haven't been up to much. Kelly and I have been scrap-booking quite a bit; I have a whole years worth of time to catch up on because I got nothing done while I was at school. I feel like I am actually making progress too which is good. I have so much stuff that I have saved over the years for my scrapbook that each time I get to throw even just an envelope away, I feel like I am getting somewhere. :) Headed to my mom's for the weekend as it is Mother's Day. That means that unless you call my cell, I am pretty much out of touch for the weekend as I have no access to a computer while I up there. Talk about feeling disconnected from the world ... oh well, it's just a weekend and I get to spend most of it with my grandma so it's going to be great. I attended the Central-Western soccer game on Monday and I had a blast. Emily Brown came too; it was great to see her, it had sure been awhile. This was the first year that we actually called the game "the Battle of the Boot" which was cool. It was even cooler that we managed to win the game and the first-ever trophy. I got to see my old soccer coaches and a lot of the girls I used to play with too which was nice. Since they go to Western, I usually only get to see them once a year which doesn't give us much time to chat but it's better than nothing. Talked to Kelly for awhile too which was cool, she even brought me a Blow-pop!! Hoping to go to the next game on Monday but not sure if that is going to work as we may be having dinner with our old next door neighbors. We'll have to wait and see ... Hope everyone has a great weekend
