Holy cow ... it's been awhile ...
Well my semester is going better than the last though I do really miss marching band cause it was awesome. I like my classes for the most part though my take-home linguistics midterm was pretty hard ... but I managed to finish it and that's all that matters!! Life in general has been full of twists and turns ... let's just say that boys are confusing as ever. I'm just going to sit back and let things happen as they do, either that or wait til he makes the first move ... we'll see ;)
Spring break was nice, unlike most of you, I have already been back at school for an entire week. I started my break out here in AA for the weekend. Had a date on Saturday night which was a ton of fun minus the major snowstorm we got that day! Don't ever wear heels in the snow, even if you think you might not get that much ;) Then Sunday I was supposed to go to Third Degree for Eastern's chapter of my frat but I wasn't feeling well so I stayed in and watched Halloween H2O with Shay before we went out to get some dinner. We left here on Monday to head to Auburn Hills for the week. Shay is from Texas and couldn't go home so she came home with me. She's awesome :) We didn't do a lot but we had fun ... we got free tickets to see Disney on Ice at the Palace from my dad's work (row B with VIP parking included) it doesn't get much better than that!! We also went to see Lord of the Rings II: The Two Towers and Lord of the Dance at the Fox. We slept a lot too, like 13 hours a night. Nothing better than that. Came back here on Saturday night to get settled in again. Getting back to reality of school was quite difficult ...
Things with my frat are awesome!! I am so glad I joined. My brothers are the best people in the world. It keeps me busy though between business meetings every other week and other meetings for different projects and such. We had a retreat this weekend followed by Habitat for Humanity in Detroit on Saturday. Both were a lot of fun though I was exhausted by the time I got home on Saturday night ... District convention is coming up which is exciting, but that just adds more to the list of things to do. We have to put together a presentation for it and I am one of the people presenting which is cool. I am also trying to decide if I want to run for an office next year or not ... I mean I want to but I'm not sure what my "platform" would be ... I've got to try to come up with some new ideas of things we can do next year ...
I can't believe we only have like 6 weeks of school left this year ... that's crazy. I don't have a summer job set up yet though so that's not good. Hopefully one of my applications will pan out soon, otherwise, who knows ... Well I hope all is well with everyone and I hope to talk to you guys soon but I have some major studying to get done ....
