Well it's been quite some time now .... Things are going pretty well for me in AA. I'm still loving marching band; my section rocks. Besides having practice for a couple hours a day, I find myself caught up in the endless cycle of class and homework and now physical therapy. This weekend was overall pretty good. Had movie night at Lauren and Michelle's apartment on Friday, somehow turned to an endless chain of back rubs, I think I ended up giving like 8. We watched the Princess Bride though and I enjoyed playing Life with Lauren, Ben, and T-Bag. Got to bed around 1 and was back up at 6:30 to get ready for rehearsal. It's pretty funny when girls are coming in the night when you are getting up for the day. Had sectionals and then the game though since my horn no longer has an octave key, playing most of the notes tends to be a problem. After the game, I took another trip to Urgent Care, this time with Lauren for my toe. Good thing I had someone with me cause I squeezed Lauren's hands like crazy when they numbed my toe, that was honestly the most painful part of the evening. And, I never knew that toes bleed so much but my was bleeding profusely. After giving it a good amount of time to numb, the doctor performed toe "surgery" and cut it open with a scalpel to release the pressure and liquid. I then got this neat little booty put on my toe and was sent on my way. Had a 40 party at the Alto House, had a great time even without drinking. From there we went to the party at 611; it's kinda funny when your director and most of grad staff are drinking right along side everyone else. Good times were had by all on Saturday. Sunday, I went to breakfast with Miranda and Jim as usual and then I went to church with Jim; it sure has been awhile since I've done that. Spent the rest of the day doing homework and such. Monday was a rather easy day ... two classes and then I went to PT for the first time. Got an ultrasound, felt pretty good til later that night when the pain returned. Had the day off from band which was nice, but since we don't have a game for three weeks it made sense. Went to the Kappa Kappa Psi meeting last night; think I might join. Today was interesting. Three classes plus a French movie and challenges for the Penn State game. Had a music rehearsal today, our next show is the John Williams show and the music is sweet. We're playing Star Wars, Superman, Jurassic Park, Indiana Jones, E.T., and Attack of the Clones. It's hard music but we have three weeks to learn it and it's gonna be awesome. :) I'm keeping my fingers crossed on making block this week. Marching hurt my toe really badly; but Mancuso gave me a piggy back ride off the field when I was done. It's out my hands now though so we just have to wait and see ....
