Things continue to go. Nothing too remarkable happening at the moment I guess, but lots of good on the horizon. I got a digital 8 track from Sean for no cost, Ive figured out how to use it for the most part. To celebrate I went out and bought a tambourine, and one maraca. So now not only do my crappy songs sound better, they also feature crappy percussion.
A new band is in the works. We seem to have a lineup, and we're on the waiting list for a practice spot. Been writing a little for it and it seems promising. I'm pretty excited. I feel like I'll be able to do more with this artisically than I ever have before. Plus Ive worked with all these guys previously and the chemistry is already established... However I'm not looking forward to having to think about band names, fucking shoot me please.
Despite my injuries, the California trip is still on. May 24th is the day I fly out. I guess Ash wants to come home, so there's a good chance I'll be driving back with her. It's hard to say how things will ultimately pan out, but the prospect of that makes me happy, I havent seen most of this country before really. I'm always down for a quest. Plus my elastics should be out by then and Id love to sample so many fine foods along the way.
So right now is a lot of waiting around. But its not bad at all. -Bob D.
