Saw Q and not U tonight. I almost didnt go, but last minute called Steve and worked it out. I'm really glad I came around to the idea. They're one of my favorite bands, and they're fun live. The three opening bands I wasn't too sold on. They all had their good and bad points I guess. Ben tricked me into working the mixing board for the last three bands. It wasnt hard, but all of Q and not U's set the kids were so wild I had to hold onto it so it wouldnt slide off the table. Aside from that I had fun. They do some interesting stuff musically. Baritone guitars, keyboards, and melodicas. Good deal. They were cut off early by the police showing up I guess. Thats kind of upsetting, seeing as how everyone seemed well behaved and the show didnt have to end until 11. Oh well. "understand it/we're fighting a war/we cant win!"
