Chicago

Finally saw Chicago last night. I loved Queen Latifah's performance and I was pleasantly surprised by Catherine Zeta-Jones as she is not really my favorite. Renee Zellweger did a good job, but I thought Richard Gere's performance was lackluster at best... not horrible, just not the caliber performance I would have expected ( Read more... )

Heh, I have yet to see any of those films :P

Of course, as you well know, I will never watch The Hours as you know how I feel about Virginia Woolf. The others I wouldn't mind seeing. Maybe some day in this life time!

I agree-- Queen Latifah was awesome. I also really liked Renee Zellweger's performance, but I'm biased because I pretty much always think that she's great. :P

I have to agree, I love her! She is simply splendid and next to probably Julianne Moore I think she is one of the most beautiful actresses around today.

Bridget Jones was hilarious, of course I loved her (even though I wasn't paying much attention as I was staring at the eye candy that is Colin Firth)!

Yeah she was good in Chicago, and I think she will make a great Marilyn Monrore after seeing her in some of those sequences. I still can't help but picture Bebe Neuwirth as Velma, but now I am convinced she would make an outstanding Bellatrix Lestrange!
