You've actually managed to piss of more conservatives than liberals with this one. My husband and I talked about this last night. The fact that he appointed a woman is unsurprising, butI expected it to be more comforting than this. The fact that he is appointing someone so woefully unqualified in judicial matters, especially on constitutional matters, is an affront to his position as what basically amounts to CEO of the country.
It reeks of nepotism.
It suggests he is more concerned with recovering public opinion than caring for the needs of the nation.
But it doesn't matter because there is nothing to be done but sit back and *pray* her appointment is stalled until after the November 30th abortion rights hearings.
