Whining Won't Work On These Ears
Wei has been going for monthly check-ups, each month alternating between the ENT specialist & the radio-oncologist.
Today, Dr. Chan gave Wei a hearing test & true to Wei's suspicions, he is unable to hear high pitched tones. I'm not sure if this is a permanent damage from the tumour growth or even the from the RT treatments. I guess whining would be falling on these 'deaf' ears...for now.
Wei says he's less reliant on his Biotene spray these days (to moisturize his mouth) which is good ---means that he is able to produce more saliva on his own. If it means having a spittle missile or two when he talks to me at close range, then let it rain.
