I'm pretty happy at the moment. Everything is cool.
Well, I'm pretty sure I'm not playing enough boardgames, but apart from that.
It's funny how things work out. I don't believe in fate, or things happening for a reason (well, okay, causality I can get behind, but I really don't like the "something bad happened? It's all in the grand plan" school of "thought") but I'm a lucky guy.
This year I plan to mainly revel in the company of some of the excellent revellers I have the fortune to live nearer than I used to, and relax into what will hopefully be a more suitable year for that than last one was.
Of course, it could all go to shit tomorrow, but then that's always the case and at least there is further for my parachute to open now.
