Whooooooooooooa, whoa, whoa, whoa, what? What? This is what Wikipedia says:
Lloyd was the protagonist of the original Tales of Symphonia. After he reunited the two worlds, he began to search for the remaining Exspheres: his goal was to prevent them from creating further victims. Lloyd has been showered with both praise and hatred from the people of the world, some of whom rejoice at his actions, and some of whom condemn them. The Church of Martel has proclaimed that Lloyd was responsible for the Blood Purge of Palmacosta: this has been neither confirmed nor denied by Lloyd himself. As a result, tensions between those who support Lloyd and those who oppose him have escalated quite rapidly.
Apparently that's what happens in the game, though we're trying to split 'em, aren't we? Guess it's possible to put them back together, too. But anything that's got the Church in it smells fishy.
And hey, you don't even know this Emil kid. Maybe he's not that bad a fighter.

I don't think he looks like a bad fighter. He just looks like a sissy.

Not even when you pick out what clothes to wear?

My wardrobe doesn't offer much variety, so it's not like it matters much.

And yet you manage to look great in everything you wear.
