what the fuck is wrong with people
so i'm reading the paper at work today and they had an article about people who should be removed from the gene pool. So as most of you know tomorrow is the 4th of July and there will be fireworks. In San Jose they close down one of the freeways and set them off over it (87 between 280 and the Julian exit) So as you might imagine drivers don't drive so hot on 280 while this is going on, slowing down, not paying attention and the like. Ok so that doesn't surprise me. What does however is this. People apparently stop on the sholder of 280 to watch the fireworks, not only that they stop AND GET OUT CHAIRS TO SIT IN ON THE SIDE OF A BLOODY FREEWAY. Many of them with their kids! I mean really how in the hell does this seem like any sort of good idea. Its not like the freeway is closed to traffic. But people think they should just hang out there in their freakin lawn chairs and watch the fireworks. For the love of pete these people deserve a darwin award.
