One Main Reason Why I Love Dogs

.....
cause I'm allergic to cats!!!!

I found this out the hard way while working at the shelter.

I was cleaning the cat kennels when within the first 15 minutes, I started sneezing. Within 30 minutes, my face was all red and had welts all over. I had to quit and rush to CVS to get antihistamines.

Guess I won't be working with cats anymore.

Too bad I was starting to like cats...and they were starting to like me. Some were actually really sweet but there was this one cat that was swiping at me. I was like, "OH HELL NO." and left her there in her dirty kennel. No good deed is worth getting a scratch in the face.

(edited: So apparently, my dad tells me that he forbade me to play with cats when I was younger cause I was allergic. Um yeah, I don't remember that warning at all.)

I went to Best Buy and wanted to get the NIkon D40. It looks so cool and I can totally play around with it. I use my Casio Exilim for people pictures when I go out to party but I can totally use the Nikon D40 for food and pet photography. Maybe if I stop buying clothes and shoes I can save up and buy it...MAYBE. I highly doubt it.

I bought two pairs of shoes again today at 50% off at Thom Brown. I bought pink flat sandals and Converse (AGAIN) cord sneakers. This must be the nth Converse pair that I will be wearing out in my lifetime. My favorite pair was the one I wore everyday in college which my dad bought for me. It was the sparkly Chuck Taylors. I loved it. No one else had it in school. It was awesome.

I also went to Free People and almost got tempted to buy a $150 sweatshirt. It was a cool looking, grungy sweatshirt though. I almost walked over to the register. Good thing I thought twice about it. I want to buy that whole store I swear.

Also went to Saks Fifth looking for more J Brand jeans. I found a cigarette leg J brand but the size 25's were loose. They didn't have it in 24s. It's my cousin's fault for introducing me to J Brand. She still wears her pair from 2 years ago even after giving birth this year. Those were probably size 24s or 25s as well. It probably looks much better on her too cause she's really tall.

I found Prada purple scalloped suede pumps instead and I was drooling. $590!!! UGH. I hate being poor. I gotta win the lotto fast.

I'm looking for Frankie B's. I guess I gotta head over to the West Coast to buy that. I can't really buy it online since I don't know the fit yet.

True Religion on Newbury is opening in Spring 2008 so I'm gonna look out for that.
