Happy New Year!
The holidays were good, but too short, as always. Nephew and niece (now aged 3 and almost 1) are cute as always. Nephew got a foam sword for Christmas, and hubby taught him to say "You shall not pass!" a la Gandalf (or as close as a three year old can get.) He now says it constantly, mostly to his little sister.
We celebrated New Year's by going to see the new Sherlock Holmes movie. Hubby sums it up accurately as: "I wish I knew how to quit you, Holmes!" A good movie, but not what I would call quintessentially Sherlockian.
