Now I know what it sounds like. I wasn't planning on getting spoiled for any of the songs for The Lorax until I watched the movie, Tumblr. I already got spoiled for everything else. Thank you, Tumblr.
But anyway all the Once-ler love on my dash is making me nostalgic for the Horton Hears a Who fandom on deviantART. Which makes me feel old. Oh, and speaking of the Once-ler, fuck you Hollywood for his design. You knew exactly what you were doing when you rebooted his character and damn it I know I'm going to fall for it really hard once I see the movie just like every other teen girl in existence. It's only a matter of time. It's already started. The whole fandom's like a cult for just him. Nobody gives a shit about the other characters and it's both hilarious and kinda scary at the same time.
Personally, I can't wait till they do the exact same thing with The Sneetches or something. Or Mr. Brown Can Moo. Somebody out there needs to make a chart or something. Hollywood's Backup Formula for Instant Teen Girl Fandom Just in Case the Movie Itself Sucks.
I hate myself right now because I just know The Once-ler going to be the only thing I like about this movie. I also know that I will probably dislike the movie itself. I'm already sure the 1971 cartoon is immensely better from what I've seen.

Also eughh villain rap songs. Is that going to be an trend now? Is that literally the only way we can differentiate ourselves from the Disney-style villain songs now? How Bad Can I Be isn't bad or anything but c'moooooon.
